Aslan was very, very focussed on the paragraph he was currently writing. He had decided the librarian in his story needed some negative attributes, something to downplay his little, big crush that was developing. Nipping it in the bud, by demystifying the mysterious hurricane with nipple piercings.

He nearly screamed when Eli dropped a few cookies is his lap. Looking around bewildered. When he turned to look over his shoulder the guy’s (handsome) face was only inches away.
“Hi,” he said scrambling for any words to follow.
“What are you writing?” A childlike grin appeared on Eli’s face.
Aslan slammed his laptop closed a little too hard, scared that he spotted the words librarian and handsome on the page.
“Book…” Aslan would not be able to look himself in the mirror that night. He had almost completely lost his ability to make coherent sentences over some boy. How had this happened in such a short time?
“Do you write? Or do you just like to read?” He tried to adjust himself in the chair, not managing to find a comfortable position and eventually just gave up and ate a cookie.
“These are really fucking good? Do you make these?” It took quiet a lot to impress Aslan, but the librarian had managed again.

Eli sharply inhaled, startled by Aslan turning around sharply, clearly having been even more startled by him.
"Just me, sorry! Didn't mean to startle you..." He muttered sheepishly.
"Uhm, right..." Eli mumbled, both confused and a little disappointed, since it seemed like Aslan wanted anything but to talk to him today.
"Oh!" He cheered up a little, as Aslan did, eventually continue the conversation. "Yes I do! Both of those! If you can call it writing, anyway, but sure." Elijah grinned. Funnily enough, he was quite the popular writer. In very niche circles, that was. Whatever he wrote was absolute filth, but Bionic Hearts fans seemed to enjoy it thoroughly - or absolutely loathe it and call him a degenerate, but in his eyes bad publicity was still publicity.
"Why thank you, yes I do! Gave you the prettiest one too." Eli winked and smiled proudly. "I can't let my patrons starve so cooking became a hobby of mine." He hummed.

“Interesting, we have that in common then,” he was pleased to find out that Eli was a fellow writer.
“What kind of things do you write? My guess would be science fiction related?” Aslan motioned for the librarian to sit down. There were two bug comfy chairs. Aslan loved this little spot, because it felt like he could close himself off from the world. He took his bag off the other chair to invite him. He realized distancing himself from Elijah had only made his obsession with him bigger, so his next plan was to actually get to know him. Surely, he’d find something about him to burst his little bubble.

“Your talents are lost on this library,” he motioned from the delicious cookie to the bug cart of books that still had not been put away.
“Do you really feed every single person in this library every day?” Aslan did like cooking, but had never ventured into baking. Then again Eli’s were the only sweets he ate really.

"Scifi related? Sure, yeah, sometimes..." A menacing grin spread on Elijah's lips. "It's erotic fanfiction." He dropped nonchalantly, reaching over Aslan to grab a cookie from the cart before making himself absolutely comfortable in the chair and munching on his cat shaped cookie.

"Why, thank you good sir I put my heart and soul into every little treat." He nodded appreciatively, He wasn't sure what it was about Aslan today, but he seemed much less intimidating. Usually he felt himself at a loss for words whenever Aslan so much as looked at him, but he was different today.
"I mean it depends on my mood, I suppose, but yeah, I try to." He smiled proudly. "I know I can be, uhm.. a bit much, so I see it as a peace offering I guess." He winced.

A few cookie crumbs made their way to Aslan’s lungs, as he choked a little at the words erotic fanfiction. He had genuinely ly never heard those two words together. Let alone out loud. Obviously he knew the word erotic and considered himself pretty good at writing the occasional love scene, although he liked to keep them subtle. ‘Fanfiction’ however was entirely knew to him. Sure, he could deduce its etymology, but that didn’t get him much further.

“What’s fanfiction? And why make it erotic?” Aslan asked after his coughing fit. He really wanted to add ‘please tell me more’ at the end if that sentence, but was equally terrified and curious to heat the answers.

“They are lucky to have you here.” He munched some more on his cookie. “Most of the time.” He smiled a little at Eli. Quickly dropping his face again, telling himself he was not allowed to flirt.

Elijah let out a silent laugh as he took in Aslan, very clearly caught off guard by his answer.
"Fanfiction, you old man, is any piece of fan writing written about an existing work, whether it be books, movies or TV shows. And erotic because I'm horny, everyone else is horny, it's a win-win. Why write anything? Because it's fun." He shrugged, smirking as he picked at the flaky almond croissant in his hands.

The librarian pouted a little bit, genuinely touched. "Thank you." He smiled, soon making way for a gasp. "Hey!" He chucked a piece of cake at Aslan's head. "You're supposed to say, 'Oh, Elijah you handsome devil, you're perfect the way you are'." He huffed, indignant.

“So you are saying that if I, hypothetically, would publish something, there is a chance that someone has written fanfiction about it? Or even erotic fan fiction?” Aslan needed a moment to let this sink in. He did not really use the internet, unless he really needed to. No social media, he tried to stay away from any book reviews and he still preferred to get his research from books. Admitting that to Eli would definitely make him seen like an even older man.

Aslan easily caught the piece of cake that was chugged at his head and looked the librarian deeply in the eyes.
“Elijah, you handsome devil, you have a little bit of croissant on your eyebrow,” Aslan picked up the little piece and blew it away like a lucky eyelash. Without meaning to, it felt like he created a little moment there and he quickly leaned back to pretend he hadn’t. Why was this happening… why did it come so easy…

"I am saying if you hypothetically publish something there's about a 99% chance someone will absolutely write some filth based off of it." Elijah rephrased with a severe look. "It's like the whole rule 34 thing, if it exists, there's porn made of it somewhere by someone. Like a law of nature." He shrugged again.

"Okay that was hot how are your reflexes that good..." He muttered, mostly to himself. His breath hitched in his throat as Aslan's fingers ever so gently skimmed over his brow, his face way too close to his for him not to immediately have his gaze drawn to Aslan's full lips. His eyes immediately widened like a deer, feeling an irksome heat spread over his cheeks.

“So readers are not satisfied with authors views of their characters or do they just have an insatiable need for erotic literature?” The information Eli was giving him did not quite want to enter his brain. He didn’t want the librarian to leave, but also he felt compelled to sot there all afternoon and search the internet for this.
“Do you have the password? For the internet…” He motioned with his hands around. Aslan must have been the only patron who had come in for four months straight without having used the internet.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to invade your personal space.” Aslan took Eli’s sudden silence, which was rare, as discomfort and not as the absolute obsession with Alsan’s lips that had actually silenced him.

“So how long have you and Milo been dating?” Aslan felt a need to break the silence between them and he couldn’t help but be a bit curious about the two of them. He didn’t think they were dating, but there was definitely something between them.

Elijah pondered Aslan's question for a second. "Hm no, it's not usually that they're dissatisfied with the characters, quite the opposite actually, usually they love them so much that they hate that the story ends and they just want to see more of them, I guess?" He mused. "Also the insatiable need for horny things, yeah." He smiled sweetly, folding his legs under him.
"The wifi? Yeah. It's 'D4rcysL3ftCh33ck' but all the vowels are numbers."

"No, no, invade it anytime." He replied breathlessly. "I mean, I don't mind." He cleared his throat, warmth creeping into his face. He tried to stop glancing down at Aslan's lips. He wasn't very succesful.

"Me and Milo?!" Eli let out a cackle. "Yeah, no, tried that once, was not a success. Just friends. I mean, with benefits. But emphasis on the friends thing."
